Recently a friend that knows I am into investing in real estate mentioned that there is a real estate investing seminar coming to Baltimore. My first thought was to put garlic around my neck to keep them money sucking gurus away. However, I didn't want to seem rude so I told my friend that I had already seen their training before. I didn't want to tell her that the "free" course leads you to a $196 course that then offers an EXCLUSIVE AND UNIQUE PROGRAM for the super low price of $34,000. After all, she was very thoughtful and remembered that I like real estate so kudos to her. Now here's my question... Has anyone ever tried to stand outside these places and tell the unsuspecting newbies about the scam? I feel morally compelled to save as many people from this expensive ripoff. It just makes me sad.
