 I've recently read the Ultimate Beginners Guide and wanted to know what you all would recommend to read next.  I'm learning but still very new and have yet to purchase my first property.  Please share books that personally have helped you get started.  Thanks for your time.  Lorri

the only book, I ever bought. "Buy it, Fix it, sell it" by Myers.  I don't sell the properties, but I am more a buy it, fix it,rent it. 

Go find a dirt cheap house and buy it, fix it, and rent it.
