Hi everyone,

I was looking at some different ways to market in efforts to find motivated sellers for lease option and sub-to deals. I came across a real estate investor named Joe Crump that has multiple videos on Youtube. He has a system called the Push Button Automarketer www.pushbuttonautomarketer.com that is suppose to send out thousands of emails and make phone calls automatically to seller ads.

I wanted to know is anyone has heard of this system and if it is good to use or not? Also if anyone can give any other alternatives to marketing to mass people.

I have not tried his system, but I have researched it a lot and it is very very powerful. I can't imagine other auto systems out there like this that can generate true leads. I'm considering it, I just want to know that I can do a little editing of some the materials. Some of the verbiage is too salesy for my taste. We'll see. I'm interested though. I do not like bandit signs because they look like uncredible trash, and direct mail is a big expense over the long haul.

I didnt expect the competition out here either, but every weekend you will see bandit signs everywhere!

And even at work on the employee fridge in the breakroom there is a "WE BUY HOUSES!" magnet hanging up!

Many doors Ive knocked on say that they have already signed a contract, or arent intrested and havr already talked with someone making the same offers I am.

Ive tried to get intouch with the person behind it, but they wont return my calls. I had hoped to work under them and learn a few things.

I am in Missoula, Montana. My market here is a sellers market for sure.

I dont have the cash to invest in systems or mail campaigns. So I door knock.

I place free ads on CL, and find leads off Zillow.

Ive yet to get my first deal, but fingers crossed that my hard work will payoff soon.

@Jess Kinzel Wow, Missoula...that's pretty cool. Can't imagine there's a lot of competition there. I'm not a fan of them because of how trashy they look...but bandit signs seem to be the go to for low budget marketing. If you don't want to buy them repeatedly, putting them out on a Friday, picking them up on a Sunday is an option. They are everywhere in Nashville. In Missoula, I'm going to bet they're not.

@Jess Kinzel I did not. I did a number of marketing initiatives to learn first hand how saturated the market is. My marketing budget now is only focused is seo. Long term game.

My experience with Joe Grump. After about 3 emails where I asked him basic questions about what I can expect from his material, he will respond back with his audio message, where you can barely hear what he has to say because he mumbles, that you'll  have to upgrade to the mentor program (10k) before he'll continue communicating with you. I was a bit put off with that and thought it was a bit bold.

While I was fullish for investing the $995 for the automarketer which seemed like it could be a good business move, I luckily didn't fall for his mentor program.

Nevertheless, I spent the $995 for the automarketer program and Joe still wouldn't return my emails, even though the questions I was asking were still related to my purchase, I wasn't asking him to cosign a house for me or anything like that. So I just listened to all the instructional videos that gave specifics details about navigation and usability of the page.

In short, I think I got a collective total of 25 leads on Zillow and Craigslist and they all told me the were disinterested in a lease option arrangement. I ran the campaign twice, with even less results. Sometimes the "scraper" would take forever to scrape or it would say "pending" for 48 hours or so, so I initiated a support ticket to inquire on if I was using it properly or not and never heard back. It does say at the top of the automarketer page that it's a new scraper for Craigslist and they are getting the bugs out, etc...but why are were paying for something that doesn't work properly. His website was showing leads like 250 per scrape while I had about 10% of that. Houston is not a small city.

So then I sent Joe an audio email telling him how dissatisfied I was with his product and wanted to take advantage of the money back guarantee; guess what? I never heard back.

I did some more digging online and found that 99% of the people that had used his stuff were overall dissatisfied to some extent and regret the purchase and wasted time. The 1% that said something remotely positive looked like bot replies.

Don't waste your time/money. FRUSTRATED.

I am not familiar with the product. However my belief is the more automatic it is the less value it has. You are going to be e-mailing to the same people that every other pushbutton marketer is.

I don't want competition I want the leads nobody else has.
