Rich Dad Mentorship
Hello all,
I'm hoping someone can offer some insight into my current situation.
A few days ago a friendly gentleman offered me his business card at my place of employment, saying he is looking for someone like me with strong social skills. I emailed him back, expecting to set up an interview for a job opportunity. We met, along with his wife, and they did an impressive job of skirting around what they actually DO. In the end, they handed me a Robert Kiyosaki book, asked me to read it, and we set up another meeting in a few days from now. After doing some research, it seems to me they are looking for mentors for the Rich Dad training. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Thanks in advance

Ahh.. I remember being hyped up and told how great I was by the donkeys from Primerica. This happened to a friend of mine as well. I'll replay a bit of his story - and yes, it's 100% true.
Primerica Tool: " I saw you working hard and admire your work ethic. I own my own business and think you could have a great future working with me."
My friend: "I'm always looking for good opportunities."
Primerica tool arranges to meet him at Burger King for an "interview."
They meet there, and just before they order food, the Primerica guy that set the whole thing up excuses himself to grab a table, for two reasons:
1) He was too broke to buy food for the guy he invited to the interview.
2) He was too broke to buy food himself.
The guy you're talking to is a turd in my opinion. You can do this on your own, instead of paying him and kiyosaki 5 or 10k for a seminar that will lead to further upselling. You might ask them why Kiyosaki's company filed bankruptcy.
Ask him about how well Kiyosaki kept his commitment to the man that made his empire explode..

These bogus opportunity hawkers piss me off. I hate people peddling this sort of crap.
