Hello all,

As mentioned in my profile, I have self managed a few properties for over 2 decades, but am looking to expand my portfolio in an accelerated fashion, in the short term future.

That said, In preparation, I have been absorbing all of the real estate investment advice I can, fot about the past 2 years.

In doing so, I ran across Anderson Business Advisors. (Counts/Mathis et.al.) and am 9/10 sold on doing business with them, insofar as I've already had the 1st meeting with a "Senior Business Advisor", and have registered for the buy our package Tax Seminar. It honestly sounds like a deal, given all they provide and perform once hired.

The package (ballpark) I've been told would suit me is about $12k, on top of their $3k "your a member so we can talk to you" fee, a lot for me now, but IMO, maybe not if I look "big picture", and down the road 10 years at the value of the assets I hope to be protecting. I see the value in a solid foundation, and well structured books from startup.

To keep it short as possible (too late, sorry), I have read a few threads here (which thickened the mud), main complaints being slow response, and sub-par communication.

I am specifically looking to see if:

1- There is ANYONE in Texas that offers similar "1 stop" services for business structure planning and implementation, asset planning, tax planning, advise and preparation as they do.

or 2- Anyone within this community, IN TEXAS, has built a team of attorneys and CPAs they have grown to trust through experience, (Bonus points for successful tenant lawsuit outcomes and Tax audits) (Not that I wish either on ANYONE, but that's what all of this community collaboration is working to avoid, isn't it?)

I, and my business partner, (read wife), would feel far more comfortable with someone we can actually meet with, face to face, and who is personally invested in knowing our local state laws, even if we have to drive 5 to 10 hours to do so.... Texas being so small and all. : )

Blessings, cheers, and prosperity to you all!

I look forward to seeing your thoughts, responses, and advice!

Mike.
