New investor interested in Milwaukee area

My name is Aidan and I am interested in investing in real estate in the Milwaukee area. I researched different strategies for creating passive income and would like to learn more from some more experienced investors. I currently live in downtown Milwaukee and am looking to invest in Milwaukee but am open to other surrounding areas as well. I have a pre approval letter for $250,000 and am motivated to get started. Hello Aidan,

I admire you getting started early like me and having such a high amount for a pre-approval. That's awesome. I would strongly encourage you to ask yourself how quickly you want to scale and if you're in the position to do so. I think many younger folks hear BP podcasts and want to go really fast and they end up over-leveraging themselves. The midwest is a great area to grow, in fact, I recommend you to look here, in Toledo as well, but always remember to buy quality homes in good neighborhoods and don't bite off more than you can chew.
