Hubzu is a division of Altisource and a majority of their properties are from that one company. The contract is their own and their escrow process is unique, some would say difficult.

Like other auction sites though, there's always a reserve and they retain the right to bid against you in order to coax you into increasing your bid. Unless they get an acceptable number, they won't sell it. In that respect they are just like buying on MLS. Just a different methodology.
