skyway area townhome/single family home

Hello,

I'm looking to buy a 2 bedroom small single family home or townhome. My main interest is finding something on my lower budget (250k) that would be easy to rent when I move. I've been looking at a couple different places in the skyway area (surrounding neighbors houses are in good condition) that seem promising. I'm wondering what peoples opinions are on homes in this area in terms of home value appreciation and ease of renting? Also, while I'm living in the 2 bedroom place, what might be a reasonable charge for rent every month? The renter would have their own private room and bathroom.

Thanks,

Matt
