Foreign developer forming subsidiary in the US

Hi Everyone, My business partner is a foreign developer wanted to form a subsidiary in the U.S. And his plan is transfer his money from his foreign company into his U.S subsidiary. And then he is going to transfer the money into my LLC for investing in real estate. Is this something legal to do? Is there going to be any legal issue or tax issue for his subsidiary just to dump the money into my LLC for investing deals? If this is do able, after my LLC makes profit, am I allowed to transfer some profits back to my partner's Subsidiary? And they can either reinvest back to my LLC or transfer the money back to the mother company outside of U.S?

Hi Michael, Long time no see! Hope you are well!  You need to consult with a very experienced tax & legal expert and probably an attorney.  That's a lot of money and better to know what your getting yourself into.
