Financing for my next rental, Need advice!
I am in need of some advice. At this point in my life I am pretty much out of possibilities to finance for another property from a bank. I have good credit, but my showing income to debt ratio is too close. I want to purchase another duplex (or tri perhaps) to live in one side and rent the other. I do own quite a few properties, but am looking to find a new multi-family in a nicer neighborhood for my daughter and I. Aside from banks, I know hard money and private lenders are available (I have never used one before, but am very interested), but are they good for a long term finance? Any advice on the subject would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!
