US Real Estate Market compared to the European Market

Aryeh Devorkin

We are just beginning to learn about real estate and our family is likely moving from my hometown Milwaukee, Wisconsin to my wife's- Manchester, England, in about a year.  We are wondering if learning about the real estate industry in the USA and joining BiggerPockets Pro is worth it?  Are the principles, ideas, and knowledge in the American market and taught on BiggerPockets applicable and reciprocal, or at least similar, to those in Europe- and specifically England?  Is the real estate market in Manchester favorable, especially for a newly-arrived yank?

Thank you for your time and consideration to these questions!
