Wanted: Tips on Mexico Vacation Rental Property Search

Hello!

Within the next 1-2 years my wife and I will be selling a 4-unit long term rental building in Wash D.C. and investing the proceeds in a Mexico vacation rental (eventually retire there).

We love the Caribbean side and will start our search this Christmas in Playa Del Carmen. We're looking for any advice from experienced Mexico vacation rental investors on how to start our search (RE Agents, metrics to ask for, property manager contacts, etc.)

Any advice is much appreciated, and we'll give back to the community information we discover in our quest.

Thanks,
Patrick
