Apple’s purchase of Capital Ridge would be one of the most significant deals of 2021, as it demonstrates the company's confidence in the appreciation of the Austin real estate market. Unlike many of the Silicon Valley behemoths leasing space in Central Texas, Apple owns significant real estate in Austin. That includes its Americas Operations Center on Parmer Lane and the forthcoming $1 billion campus its building a little farther north.
