Real estate investing - Austin
Hey all,
My fiancé and I are looking to buy an investment property in Austin. It looks like prices are only rising so we are looking to get the ball rolling. We are leaning towards residential. Any tips are greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Travis

@Travis Varady Be prepared to battle for properties and be laser-focused on your criteria. Inventory remains at record lows and anything on the MLS will see aggressive multiple offers. As of this morning, there were only 500 total single-family homes in all of Travis County at any price point. If you can buy all-cash, that's preferred. Otherwise, do everything you can with your lender to get your underwriting completed so you can remove financing contingencies to be competitive.
