Low inventory driving prices up, up, up — even during a downturn

Housing inventory in the ZIP code where Apple is building a $1 billion campus has fallen from an already low 0.9 months to a virtually non-existent 0.3 months since the iPhone maker announced the facility. That is just one of the jarring statistics brought to light during the annual North Austin Growth Summit.
