Mixed-Use Commercial Property in Dallas Area?

I am looking for someone to connect with that is experienced with small-scale commercial / mixed use property (work + live) in the Dallas or surrounding area.  I have been toying with a start-up business idea that requires some retail presence.  Would love to find real estate that is almost ‘house hacking’ with work on the first floor and a loft or something on the second floor.  The business would require build out that I’d prefer to own the property vs leasing.  

Anyone familiar with something like this?  Not even sure how to set up a search for it.  Thought I would start here.  Thanks!
