Dallas Section 8 rentals
Hi everyone,
I am a fairly new member of BP. Im closing on my first SFR next week and I am looking to grab a couple more in the next 90 days. Does anyone on this board have experience with accepting S8 on their properties in Dallas (S. Dallas, Oak Cliff, Cedar Crest, Balch Springs, Mesquite)? I am interested in figuring out exactly what criteria the home needs to fit to maximize the voucher, as well as to get a litmus test on how accurate the voucher estimates from DHA are. Lastly, does anyone know of solid property managers in this area?
Thank you,
Matt

Hey Matt,
Good to meet you & welcome to BP Nation! I'm fairly new as well & am honing my skills specifically on the wholesale side of things. I see the areas you're looking in, what other criteria (rooms, baths, garage, etc) are you wanting in your homes? I'll be on the hunt!
I understand S8 is a great way to go, understanding there is some risk, just as with anything. Don't let that deter you! Congrats on your 1st closing!!!
