Risks in Investing in Indianapolis

Hello all,

I am an out-of-state investor from California currently investing in Indianapolis. I have always been interested in the San Antonio market due to the strong population growth and diverse economy (military, government, energy, and healthcare). Prices in San Antonio also seems fairly reasonable compare to other large Texas cities. What are some risks that new investors in this area should watch out for?

Thank you!

Jack,

I always advise individuals to come see the city and figure out what areas they like. Also, foundations are an issue here.  Plenty of companies repair them though. Other than that, it is very competitive here.  Deals getting harder to find.  Great city and is constantly growing!

I have been looking at Indy to invest in. Seems like a lot of value there.
