San Antonio broker/real estate agent

I'm planning to find a property management company that'll help educate me on the rental market in San Antonio (some of you might have seen that post).  I also think having a few conversations with a real estate agent/broker versed in dealing with investors/rental market would help bring me up to speed a bit more.  That said, time is money.  I'm  considering the likely possibility that agents/brokers may not want to commit any time chatting for half an hour unless it's with a committed, ready-to-buy investor.  Anyone have advice/insights on this? Worth trying to solicit an agent/broker for an initial FAQ convo on the SA rental market?

If there are agents willing to commit to a conversation or two, any referrals to an agent/broker with whom you have had good personal experience?

If you are commited to real estate investing, you probably want to get involved in the real estate groups. The big ones cost about $150 per year. There are some small ones that are free. You can meet people there who want to talk about real estate. Some people are investors and some are realtors. People at the meetings are in the mood to talk real estate. This would be the best place to meet and talk with people. You will not be bothering anyone at the meetings because that is why they are there, to network.

You also have to fill out your profile. People tend to not take you as serious when you are not willing to share a little about who you are and what you are working towards.
