New Investor/REA looking for guidance (willing to provide value)

Hello BiggerPockets Community!

I have been investing my attention to the resources of real estate investing since summer 2019 when I graduated from Dartmouth College with a bachelors in electrical engineering. I got a standard job and thought about what’s next for me in this life.

Fortunately for me my parents are real estate investors and manage the properties on their own. So I have a pretty strong background already. My mom is a broker. She fix and flipped and managed since the 90’s but then she invested in a restaurant with her capital and time. So her real estate game halted in 2010 and with the recession on top of that she kinda fell out of it.

Safe to say I witnessed and observed many of what there is in real estate investing so I know what I’m getting into. I became a REA in September of 2020. Handled a couple of transactions under my moms brokerage. Bought a duplex and I’m now house hacking it. But I feel like I’m hitting my limit with my moms time.

I am in search for guidance. Maybe even a position in a company that handles real estate investments. I particularly need guidance on how to structure the holdings and property management. I am also spending some time on the side in construction/rehabbing just to learn. I feel like I have most of the pieces but lack the organization. As in how can a LLC protect and what's an effective deployment of one?

On the flip side I am willing to provide value. Here are some areas that I can help with:

-bilingual in Spanish and English

-REA can do comps and handle transactions

-already have a lead gen process for pre foreclosures (automated to the point of receiving the phone calls)

-handyman have worked on rehabs and minor fixes on my parents properties. Even have my own tools and truck!

-I’m a very organized person. I love spending time organizing files and other things.

-also have bookkeeping/accounting experience I know quickbooks really well!

I hope that this reaches out to somebody willing to provide guidance to me even if it’s just messages back and forth on BP or someone willing to even hire me on their team.

Other facts about me! Born and raised in Houston. Parents have Mexican ancestry. Love engineering. Play guitar and starting to get I to gardening. I’m 23 and ambitious.

Looking forward to chatting with you all!

Thanks !
