older home, damaged during the freeze, sell?
Howdy people
I have a home built in 76 that has about 18-28k of repairs needed. Should I sell it and buy something newer?

@Theresa Harris The insurance policy may or may not cover the damage. I’m a public insurance adjuster and am seeing policies with exclusions for the damage caused by the freeze, but are paying for the repairs to pipes. Policy dictates if the damage is covered. Regarding selling, that would be a personal choice, but you’ll not get much for a water damaged home. I’ll discuss buying it if you go that route. Or, I know great contractors to help you repair it.
