how do you find a partner

What's the best way to go about finding somebody to partner up with to tackle pre-foreclosures?

I've tried opening up a thread here asking for a partner which got shut down and I got referred to the marketplace

which apparently only lists houses and, unless I'm missing something, has nothing to do with anything like that.

I'm motivated and have access to capital but have never done anything like this and would like to minimize risk.

thanks

Arnel
