Looking for Experienced 203k Contractor - Pittsburgh

Evaluating an older property for a potential 203k opportunity and would like to get input and a quote from a contractor experienced with 203k. Property currently is 2 residential units and commercial space. Plan would be to convert commercial space into 2 additional residential units and rehab the existing 2 residential units.

Like idea of the 3.5% down deal, also I would then have cash to assist in streamlining and accelerating contractor payments understanding the hurdles involved with 203k.

Any contractors with information to share good / bad OR those open to taking on a large 203k project , please feel free to reach out.

@Jason Papp

You'll first need a WWU/SOR from a HUD approved FHA 203k Consultant.

I also looked at 203kContractors.com for Certified 203k Contractors in your area and couldn't find any. That's the only independent source I know of for contractors that are experienced with or educated on the 203k.

So, it could be quite difficult to find contractors in your area with verified 203k experience or ones that have been properly educated on the 203k AND have the financials necessary to start the project with no upfront money and be able to sustain the cost of the project throughout the draw/inspection process.
