Miami House Hacking Help

Hi Miami investors!

I graduate from school at the end of this year and am looking to house hack right after. I'm in the process of narrowing down my markets, and I am seriously considering Miami. My main reason is because I love living in big cities (I go to school in NYC), and I'm looking to move somewhere a little warmer.

With that being said, living as close to the city center is one of my top priorities. Some other criteria I have are the property has to be under $650k (or around there), C+ neighborhood or better, and I'm looking for small multifamily or a SFR with a mother-in-law (I know this is rare to find in Miami, or at least a legal one, so I'd also be open to normal SFR and renting out the rooms).

Does anybody have some neighborhood suggestions that may fit what I am looking for? I would love to connect with any investors or agents who have dealt with house hacking or know the area well. Thanks!

I'm a Miami native-born and raised who knows the city really well. I recently registered on bigger pockets pro to start investing for myself. Miami has several good neighborhoods I recommend that will meet your criteria and allow you to house hack with a budget below $650k.
