It will take time...these were the city councils words back in 1977 and these are Wheelers words today.

Today it will take time to reverse gentrification. Government control at its best.

My little house in NE Portland went from $25,000 to $80,000 to $110,000 to $350,000 to zestimate of $506,000 today. Where will it go from here-maybe back down-who knows. The value is in the lot so not worth $506k but still nice appreciation.

Like New York city people are fleeing but some savvy investors are staying in Portland because the rental stock is shrinking which drives up rents. I am staying and leaving, a little of both.

Man, my Mom lives in Portland as do half the folks I grew up all good peoples, but life is to short for that woke nonsense they have going on up there.  Schools are absurd the crap they get away teaching is not good.

Good luck,
