Looking to connect with local real estate investor community

Hi Portland Bigger Pockets folks, 

       I am a full-time Portland professional and part-time real estate investor.  I have a lot to learn about investing in the local market, and I wanted to get connected with the community to learn more.  I see that I shouldn't use this forum for seeking deals or mentors, so I was wondering if there are meet ups or other forums to meet other investors.  Any suggestions?  Thanks for the help!
