Basement Conversion Layout Feedback - Portland

Hello everyone,

I'm turning my unfinished basement into a second unit and would like everyone's opinion on the lay out if possible.  My floor joists are 8 feet tall and currently it has 4 support 5x5's in the center of the basement. My plan is to remove the 2 that would be in the living room and kitchen area and replace it with a steel i beam across it to take the place of those two Supports.  The other two I have positioned into the walls and you can see them as the white squares. My plan is to keep a small area as the utility for both the up and down stairs electrical panels, water heaters and possibly the furnaces(unless I use mini splits). If I use ceiling mount mini splits, I might put the washer and dryer in the utility room instead. I only have windows available on the two sides due to how the first floor lays on top of the basement, which is why I chose the layout this way to allow for the Bedroom egress windows. Another thing I'm struggling with is the two bedroom closets, Should I keep them as they are or swap the doors so the main bedroom door is for the closet closest to the perimeter wall? Please let me know what you guys think.
