HVAC company ruined AC. Help!

A local HVAC company has been working on the AC unit in my rental since mid July. They came out at least 5 times in total, and told us that there are more things to fix each time. Finally, we decided to get a second opinion, who told us that the first company completely ruined the system and left it in a dangerous state. I was wondering if we can get a 3rd opinion here from these photos. We would prefer not to pay for a whole new system if possible.

I assume that we can't get a refund for the ****** work they already performed or ask they to pay for the unit they ruined.

I suggest asking around. You should be able to find a contractor that will install a complete system and do a quality job for $6,000 or less. Try to find a reputable small company, the big companies have tremendous overhead and can’t compete on system changeout prices.
