Building and Leveraging Relationships in Deal Generation

Hello BP!

I am a 24 year old buy-and-hold (new to BP) investor with five units across two deals under my belt in the Edmond/Oklahoma City area. My approach going forward is to use both creative financing and forced appreciation to minimize my invested cash.

As I look to expand in the Edmond/OKC area, I find myself pouring over public records, direct mailing local investor-owners, reaching out to listing agents, etc. Rather than being a solo dealmaker, I want to build upon my meaningful relationships in the area by getting to know motivated wholesalers, investors, community banks, and other professionals who enjoy exchanging ideas and knowledge.

Does anyone have any advice on meetups for local investors, good wholesalers, small local banks with less rigid financing, or ways to find other cool people that love what they do?
