Dayton - Question #1: Data analysis (Employment and housing)
Dear BP experts, I am focusing in analizing Dayton. I see that the people who lives and invest there, have a very good impression of the city, but for someone who is out of state, it is very important the DATA. So, wanted to ask, how can I get data for:
1) Employment: Unnemployment rate, jobs vacancy, types of jobs, companies which are there, etc
2) Housing vacancy
I will really aprecciate for concrete information and/or sources (not just googling)
Thank you and best regards!!!

@Daniel Fridrij - For #1 - your best primary source of information will be the Ohio Dept. of Job and Family Services Ohio Labor Market Information. I tried to copy and paste the link but not sure this site lets me, but try clicking on the hyperlink. Every state partners with U.S. Dept. of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, to publish monthly data relating to #1 (employment, unemployment, wages, occupations, industries, etc.) and has info by county/metro, etc. You can also check out the U.S. labor statistics as well for more general info. They're a wealth of free quality info and if you dig deeper at most publications, you'll see they originate from those sources too.
