Vacant Lots and Taxes

Hey all, I'm looking for some help. I bought a single family home in Akron this year and I acquired a parcel of vacant land with it. I took on the land just because I didn't want to kill the deal by sticking it with the seller.

I'm looking at another house that I will probably buy, but there appears to be a vacant parcel right next to it that the seller owns. I can see the future and that the seller is not going to want to keep that vacant lot for property tax reasons. So, that would make 2 vacant lots. I mean, I can handle a vacant lot here and there, but I don't want a new vacant lot for every property I pick up.

Do I just not pay taxes and eventually let good ole Adair pick up the certificate?

Has anyone tried getting a tiny home or something on their vacant lot(s)?

Should I just combine the parcels, reappraise and petition for lower taxes, assuming the appraisal comes back with a lower value?

Donate it? Maybe a nonprofit can eat up the taxes with their status?

Do I just mow the lawn and claim a bigger tax deduction?
