Who's doing Section 8 in Toledo? Good/bad/ugly?
I'm an out-of-state investor in the process of getting my first property here, and considering going Section 8. I've never dealt with them before, and I hear every location can be a little different. Just looking for some insight on the good and bad of the program in Toledo. Thanks!

Good Morning @Brianne H. I manage quite a few section 8 properties in Toledo and it really comes down to how the owners take care of the property. The owners that maintain and keep their properties in good condition have no issues, it is the owners that do not perform preventative maintenance that tend to run into problems.
There are also quite a few other organizations throughout the city that offer rental assistance for tenants, we work with quite a few. Section 8 tends to be the most common but every organization has different standards and expectations as well!
