School boards sniffing out LLC transfers for tax increase

Hey yall

anybody know much about the process or methods behind school boards combing through LLC transfers to notify the county auditor to manually increase taxes? Do you know how they target these llc transfers? do they go down the list, or cherry pick the high value?

have you personally dealt with this, and how did you response?  if you fight it, whats the likelihood you'll win the case?

any info or context would be greatly appreciated
