I was wondering what people's thoughts on syndications and joint ventures are.

  • Do people generally think they are a good idea? 
  • Are they more or less risky than investing as an individual and do they add enough value?
  • How do you do due diligence and go about establishing trust?
  • Does syndications make more sense if investors and properties span multiple states/locales?
