I was told a law passed that now requires this although i'm unable to find a reference to it. Anyone know if this is true?

@Christopher Toth       Sssssssshhhhhhhhhh, quiet man. Don't blow it for the rest of us :-)  If people keep assuming that renting out to tenants that have a Section 8 Voucher is a bad thing, that leaves more for us to choose from :-).

I have Section 8 rentals in Cleveland, Ohio and Concord, Ca and Oakland, Ca and those tenants are by far the most reliable, maintenance free and hassle free tenants I have compared to my cash tenants because either myself or my property manager screened them properly. We get a free inspection every year or every other year from the Housing Authority and when the Section 8 tenant ever loses their job (because contrary to popular thought, MOST tenants with a Section 8 Voucher have a job) the Housing Authority actually covers the entire rent until they get another job. Christopher a lot of people don't know that on average, Section 8 tenants tend to stay in properties longer than cash tenants and since tenant turnover is generally one of the biggest expenses that risk is mitigated with a properly screened Section 8 tenant.

Did we mention the rent is guaranteed?

Christopher we absolutely can't share this information with people :-)
