New - Working to find team

Fred Daum
Posted
Hi Everyone, Just getting into the real estate world. Myself and 2 friends are working to start investing in the Cleveland area (All currently living or lived in the area). We're working to put together a team and I was hoping to get some input from the bigger pockets community. Right now I'm looking for recommendations on the below people: 1) Real estate attorney 2) Real estate agent 3) CPA I'd really appreciate the help. Hoping there wasn't a giant "these are the recommendations" post I missed. Thanks again, Fred

@Fred Daum I would focus your search on finding the right real estate agent that focuses on the investment space. Your agent should be able to make introductions to a lot of the other professionals you need in the industry. Here in the Chicago suburbs, I regularly introduce my clients to my team. I also invest, so I have contractors, attorneys, lenders, etc.

Why not go to some local meetup events to see which agents are active in your local area? This is probably the best way to meet an agent in the investing space.
