Good Morning everyone,

I am relatively new to the area and I have been talking with some locals recently to figure out which areas to avoid when looking to invest. I have been getting some mix feedback. Some are saying the West of Charlotte is the area to avoid. Some are saying parts of east Charlotte. Can anybody that is familiar with the area help me out. Thanks!

What is your goal Angelo? Flipping? Holding? If you are looking to hold, are you doing so for appreciation, cash flow, or both?

Hi

I'll be glad to post to help you.. I'll wait till you answer the question about your goals above --and what purchase price point are you trying to be at for your 1st purchase.

I am looking to do both buy and hold as well as rehabs. My primary goal is cash flow with the buy and holds and if I benefit from appreciation than that is an added bonus. My first step is to house hack preferably a multi unit. I plan on living in it for a year and redo the process.

I'm on the same boat. Currently looking for buy-hold deal that are ready for tenants to move in. I am mostly looking for areas that have good appreciation. my price range would be about 100-200k. This will be my second deal here. any recommendations for area?

Also, rehabbing a house that more potential, sounds exciting. but I'm too new into that ream of things. Any previous experiences for you guys?
