Beginner looking to start in the real estate market

 looking to start real estate development   buying fixing and renting . I have watch tons of videos on youtube i am currently living in new york city where housing market is really expensive . I do not mind going to another state to start out  in the market

Hi Marvin, 

Congrats for taking this big step towards a new future.  There are a couple of places in Northern (and Southern)  New Jersey (that with patience) you can easily buy a 3 family Under 300k! What you have to think about is whats your budget and what type of tenants you want to deal with. You can also find Multifamily for under 200k but you know what type of tenants you'll be dealing with. Just be careful who you hire as a contractor. I know a couple of investors that gone broke because of them. PM me if you need more detailed info on the market.
