How to find out if wall is structural or not?
Hi BP members,
My wife and I currently rent in New York City and are looking into buying an apartment in Jersey City Downtown. We do like an apartment a lot though ask ourselves how we could possibly find out if the kitchen walls are structural walls (and cannot be removed) or not?
Is there any way to find out prior to actually buying the unit?
We thought about trying to call the super of the building that may know it?
I greatly appreciate your feedback,
Sandro
