Just saw the video posted by @Brandon Turner about the new subforums and thought I'd kick things off here with something fun.

So, my question: Have you ever done something fun or special to celebrate a closing?

Mine would be this: A few months ago I rented out Modern Brewing Company's brewing warehouse for a private tasting to celebrate a closing on a multi-family investment property. I invited the buyers, some business associates and friends along to try some great beer and meet the owners/brewmasters. I should mention that my favorite hobby is home brewing and I'm a member of the St. Louis Brews, so it makes sense that I'd rent a brewery. Shameless plug, but if you want to try one of my beers the Schafly Tap Room and Bottleworks both have a saison I helped create called the STL Brews Saison.

Your turn: What's your favorite closing celebration story?
