BOUGHT MY FIRST HOME AT 21

Hey everyone it is not a done deal yet but my first deal is almost done we will be closing in about a month. The appraisal came in a little high (which seemed strange even though I looked to buy at a discount). I also was able to get the home at listing since many did not want it. We are getting a new roof which I asked for with the offer. It was not horrible the inspector said but it was enough of a CAPex to worry a newbie such as myself so I'm glad I asked for it initially with the offer. It cashflows (although it be very little) but I just feel encouraged to tell people that deals are possible in this market even for someone such as myself. Here are to the many learning opportunities coming my way. I have already learned a lot just taking action, much more than any books. I am currently looking for a good insurance agent and CPA since I want to stop doing those taxes myself or at least get professional help. I also am looking for any recommendations for contractors, while we probably will do most of the work ourselves, I will need some help with a few things to fix up the home. I also would like to open an account with a local Credit Union here in Kansas City and am looking for recommendations. Good luck to all! Also if anyone is like me and worried about financing a home purchase I am a licensed Loan Originator here in Kansas and Missouri along with a few other states so feel free to reach out to me.
