New to Rochester, Interesting in Connecting with Pros!

Hey All,

Recently I relocated to the Rochester, NY area from Pittsburgh, PA. My Fiance & I bought our first duplex in August, renovated the upstairs unit & currently live in it. We plan on renovating the downstairs unit in the spring to increase rents.

My background is in Acquisitions & Property Management for a company in Pittsburgh that owns + manages a 600 unit portfolio in-house, including all construction. Over the past 4 years, I've gained a significant amount of experience including a large respect for how important it is to truly understand your market & have many personal connections with people operating within it (Agents, Wholesalers, Contractors, Subs, PM's etc).

I'm not familiar with Rochester aside from driving the area & looking at rents/sale values online. What I'm really interested in is connecting with people who have a track record of success in executing in this market. If you are someone like that, I'd love to buy you coffee or dinner at your convenience to learn about your experience here.

Thanks!

John
