Need a property manager but not really.
I manage a duplex in St Paul from different state myself and I like it this way. The only problem I have is every now and then I need someone, to check on the house. Someone who can stop by and let me know if gutters need to be cleaned, if rain spouts are away from the foundation, if lawn was not taken care of or see if there any other minor issues that can lead to a disaster. It seems to me that hiring a property manager for such small task is an overkill, and finding good handy man every time is hard. Is someone here is willing to do this type of work, or can recommend a good handy man who can do this?
