House Hacking in Minneapolis/St Paul

Hi BP! I'm from California, looking to invest in the Minneapolis area, and I'll be visiting next week. 

 I'd love to meet investors in the area. I've been itching to get started in real estate investing. 

I'm looking for a duplex/triplex to house hack, using an FHA 203K loan. Preferably cosmetic work fixer uppers, and in a safe neighborhood since i'm new to the area. I don't mind if the numbers break even for house hacking , but cashflow would be nice too. I'm open to any suggestions or advices.

I know you are joking but living in a camper van is possible in LA not Minneapolis-LOL

I'd be glad to meet for coffee as I'm putting 4 or 5 duplex/triplexes up for sale in premium areas in/around Uptown which is one of the most popular areas near MPLS lakes/DT for rentals.  I could show you a triplex example with an open unit so you see an example of typical MFH's here.
