Question on the amount of a New Jersey tax lien
There is a property included on a current NJ municipal tax lien sale listing with an amount due that is approximately four times the posted annual property tax due. The property was not on the tax sale list the prior year. Can someone tell me why the lien could be for such a large amount when the town sells off past due amounts each year?
