Tax Lien Certificate Transfers - AZ

Kelley Moffat
Posted

It has come to my attention that it is possible to buy existing tax lien certificates (that are owned by another party) in all 3 counties where I bought certificates for 2019 taxes (several of the properties have existing tax liens).  My question is - is there any way to find out who the certificate holder is?  I have looked at the tax history on several of the properties with no luck.  I can't imagine the Treasurer's office would share that information and while I can see the winning bidder number on the sale website there's no further information.  Any help would be appreciated :-).  Thanks in advance.

@Kelley Moffat I have been contacted by other tax lien bidders in the past. They somehow found me through the county office. I also had a woman contact me who wanted to buy the tax liens I held on the vacant parcel next to her house. She said she called the county treasurer and gave them the parcel number. They gave her my contact information. She called my home phone so apparently the tax lien buyer name, address and phone is public data.
