Iowa land contracts - did you know
Did you know in Iowa you have 90 days to record the land contract?
If it is not recorded and borrower defaults you cannot seek forfeiture until it is recorded.
Once it is recorded and it it is older than 90 days the recorder will send it to county counsel and determine your penalty which can be up to $100 per day
