Can anyone tell me why it looks like this home has been in pre-foreclosure status for something like 16 years?   Looks like it has changed lenders a couple of times, so maybe the note gets sold and resold....but looks like it has been posted and posted and posted.   Did they miss a payment and then start paying again, so they're always behind a month?   Have they never paid and something is wrong with the paperwork?  Something else?   Looks like initial loan was with New Century Mtg Corp for 1st lien and Indymac Bk Fsb for 2nd and then maybe got sold to Reliance Mtg Co.
