21 and hungry for knowledge

First post here on Bigger Pockets, have been reading financial literacy books, and investment strategy books for the past 6-7 months intensely. And just don’t known the best place to start.

My 10 year goal is to be financially free and running a real estate portfolio that has cashflow 3.5x my expenses. That being said I want to end up holding multi-family properties within the 10 year mark.

But I’m conflicted on where to start in terms of building a strong foundation in my portfolio while still having enough velocity behind my money to grow.

Should I start with a SF rental and hold for the 1031 deferred (4 greens and a red type strategy) or go after Tax / lien sales to flip/sell in the short term until I can afford a multi family property.

Any advise or insight would be HUGE, y’all be blessed
