Looking to learn more about notes before shifting my strategy to investing. Any secret sauce you can share?

@Chad U.  not sure where the industry is now a days.. when I was chasing tapes.. back in the very beginning of the GFC wading through the broker daisy chains was just so much fun..  matter of fact so much fun I just stopped and never got into it.. and we were prepared to move some pretty good money into it..  5 to 10 million..  I once had 5 million sitting in escrow for an indy mac tape and never could close the thing..   

not sure where its at today.. I suspect notes have cleaned up some..  and there was that guy in Denver who got in a huge amount of legal trouble maybe even criminal unleashing thousands of  people with his guru course.. CL was full of them.. 

I suspect a lot of these folks on BP are going to run into the daisy chain stuff at least if they talk to the 10 or so guys on this site that actually do this.. they will get a better feel for it.. 

you have 50 odd states and everyone of them has their own unique rules to debt.. its a complicated transaction for the most part.. and since your already dealing with a problem IE NPN.. never a day goes by that we don't learn some nuances of the law that we never knew.. I know I do even after 4 decades and probably 5 thousand plus escrows.. I still learn new things or get stung on some detail in some state I never heard of before.
